Who We Are
AccessOn Internet is providing Internet and phone service for unserved and underserved residents and businesses located in parts of Warren and Halifax counties. Our 100% fiber-optic network supports a symmetrical data speed of 2.5 Gigabits per second with AccessOn Voice available as an add-on for any of our data plans. Six of North Carolina’s broadband Coops are investors in and serve on the board of directors for AccessOn.
Our Story
AccessOn has been connecting local communities since 1994 when we started partnerships with most of the rural Coops across North Carolina. Over time those relationships developed into providing robust connectivity for these Coops, large businesses and wireless towers to the Internet over a state-wide fiber network. With support of our Coop partners and the USDA, AccessOn Internet is now expanding that network to provide data and phone service to residential and business customers as the next step in improving the quality of life in our rural communities.

The Plan
Faster Internet is on the way for Warren and Halifax Counties! AccessOn was awarded a grant through the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) ReConnect Program to provide Internet and Voice service within a specified area in rural Warren and Halifax counties. The grant carries an obligation to prioritize network construction and servicing of all addresses in the grant funded area. AccessOn Internet will make every effort to accommodate nearby areas during the grant construction as resources permit with plans to soon expand even further out after the grant work is satisfied.
Services
We strive to provide the highest level of local customer support possible and contribute as a solid member of the community. Our systems will detect any network outage issues impacting multiple customers for immediate resolution by our on-call technicians 365 days a year. To deliver the most affordable Internet, live phone support and issue resolution for individual customers will be limited to between 9am and 5pm non-holiday weekdays.
